The Rules of Golf as issued by the USGA govern play, along with Local Rules as applicable in the Club’s “Hard Card”. See below for additional Conditions of Competition. Violations are addressed by the Tournament Committee in cooperation with the Rules Committee.
FORMAT:
This is a one-day, 18-hole, Net Team Competition, using 100% of the player’s Home Course Handicap. Each team will consist of 4 players, “A”, “B”, “C” and “D”. The Tournament Committee uses Golf Genius to determine Teams and pairings. If a team is missing a player, the Tournament Committee will substitute scores for the missing player by using another player in the Competition that has the next closest Handicap Index. All scores are posted to GHIN by the Committee for USGA Handicap purposes, with applicable Adjusted Gross Score applied.
SCORING:
All A and B players will play from the Blue Tees. All C and D players will play from the White Tees. On each hole, one player in each foursome is designated the “Lone Wolf”, and that’s dependent on each hole’s Handicap Rating. That designated Lone Wolf for each hole will be:
Player A: Holes #2, #5, #7, #12, #16 and #18 (Course Handicapped holes: 1 thru 6)
Player B: Holes #3, #6, #9, #11 and #14 (Course Handicapped holes: 7 thru 11)
Player C: Holes #1, #4, #10 and #15 (Course Handicapped holes: 12 thru 15)
Player D: Holes #8, #13 and #17 (Course Handicapped holes: 16 thru 18)
In Lone Wolf, two scores per hole are added together for the team score. On each hole the team score will be the net score of the player designated as the Lone Wolf, plus the lowest net score among the other three players on the team.
Ties: In the event of a tie for first place CO-Champions shall be declared. All ties will result in CO-Winners and the place monies will be split evenly. There will not be a playoff for this tournament.
OTHER INFORMATION:
When registering on-line with PayPal for the Lone Wolf Golf Tournament, there will be three (3) voluntary Skins Games. $5.00 is collected from each player wishing to enter a “Team Score” Skins Game. In addition, a voluntary $5.00 is collected from each player wishing to enter a “Flighted (A-B-C-D), Individual Net” Skins Game. Also in addition, a voluntary $5.00 is collected from each player wishing to enter “Gross, Over the Field” Skins Game. In the event of “No Skins Out” for any or all three games, the competition reverts to a Best Skins format.

Slow play results in a team penalty of two strokes.
TOURNAMENT PAYOUTS:
Closest to the Flagstick: Holes #4, #8, #13 and #17 (Gift Cards will be awarded.)
Individual payout: “Money on the Books”, using Tournament Payout Schedule A. The number of participants in each flight determines places paid.
