This event will be limited to 42 players per club which will consist of 40 players from each club, with 2 pro’s from each course based on their availability. For Foothills these 40 players will be selected by results listed in the Player of the Year roster. In case a selected member would not be able to play, an alternate will be selected from the same roster. Flights will be coordinated by the handicaps and tee
preferences of both clubs. Cut off for roster selection will be August 31, 2026.
The Rules of Golf as issued by the USGA govern play, along with Local Rules as applicable for both courses. See below for additional Conditions of Competition. Violations are addressed by the Tournament Committee in cooperation with the Rules Committee for each specific course.
FORMAT:
This is a two-day, 36-hole, Flighted Team, Net Match Play tournament using 100% of Home Course Handicap, as of the date of tournament set up. The Tournament Committee uses Golf Genius to determine teams and pairings.
The field is divided into equal groups by Handicap Index (HI): Flights will be determined by the Tournament Committee’s from both clubs. The groups are further divided into Team Meadows and Team Foothills, using the nearest equal distribution of combined Handicap Index (HI).
Tees to be utilized will be set by the committees based on tee preference and the number of participants and flights.
Saturday matches – Played at (Foothills) Format will be 4 ball matchplay. (1 point per winning team or ½ point for a tie for both teams.) Each team member plays his own ball.

With 100% CH applied, Team members may give advice to one another.
Sunday matches – Played at (Meadows) Format will be Singles matchplay. (1 point for the winner, ½ point for a tie). Each team member plays his own ball.

SUNDAY SINGLES: IF THERE IS NO WAY TO WIN THE HOLE, PLEASE CONCEDE THE HOLE AND MOVE TO NEXT HOLE FOR BETTER PACE OF PLAY.
NO SHOW: IF A NO SHOW SHOULD OCCUR FOR SUNDAY SINGLES, THE OPPONENT WILL BE DECLARED THE WINNER OF THE MATCH AND THE POINT WILL BE GIVEN TO HIS SIDE FOR THE TEAM TOTAL.

TOURNAMENT WINNER:
The Club with the most points at tournaments end will be declared the District Cup Winner and will be presented with the Trophy.
SCORECARD PLAYOFF PROCEDURE:
A non-stakeholder (Pro Shop staff/pro) selects a individual scorecard randomly from Sunday's round to determine the winning team from the selected individual match
(Foothills flight vs Meadows flight according to the scorecard selected.)
If the selected game had a winner then that team is deemed to be the winning team.
If the selected game was a tie, then whatever team was the first team to go up over the other, starting with the first hole is deemed to be the winning team.
If by some chance after these determinations the contest should still remain a tie, then a tie will remain and the trophy will remain with the team who currently holds it.
THERE IS NO ALTERNATE DATE FOR THIS TOURNAMENT:
Should a cancellation of play on Saturday occur, then the point total for Sunday will be used to determine the cup winner.
If a cancellation of play on Sunday should occur, then the point total for Saturday will
determine the cup winner.
