FORMAT:

This is a one-day, 18-hole Flighted Four Man Shamble (Net) Stroke Play Tournament using 80% of Home Course Handicap. Home Course Handicap is as of the date of tournament set up. Each team will use their Two Best Net Scores

on each hole to determine their team score for the tournament.

SCORING:

• Players A and B play from the Blue Tees. Players C and D play from the White Tees. Each player’s tee shot must be used at least once on the Front 9 and at least once on the Back 9. (This is like a Scramble.) With the approval of the other team members, the A player selects the best tee shot on each hole.

• Each player then completes the hole with their own ball. (This is like stroke play.)

All balls are lift, clean and place before the 2nd shot only. Except for on the green and in all hazards, the team is allowed no more than one club length, no closer to the hole, to play their next shot. The club length cannot substantially change the conditions of the lie of the original shot, i.e. cannot drop or place onto the green, get in or out of a bunker, get out of the native into the rough, or get out of the rough into the fairway. Team members are allowed to rake the sand after each shot in a bunker. On the green, the team is allowed to place the ball no farther away than a standard golf pencil, and no closer to the hole.

• For this event only, team members may stand on the line of the putt. (Rule 23.8 does not apply.)

• The A player will record each player’s gross score for each hole, and Golf Genius will determine the two best net scores to calculate each team’s score.

Scores for this event are not eligible for posting for USGA Handicap purposes.

TIES:

In the event of a tie for first place, Co-Champions will be declared. All ties will result in the place monies being split evenly. There will not be a playoff for this tournament.

VOLUNTARY GAMES:

Net Team Skins. Entry will be $5.00. If there are “No Skins Out”, the competition reverts to a Best Skins format.

Entry fee for this game is voluntary, and may only be paid in cash, at the check-in table. The check-in table will close 30 minutes before the club’s final tee time; late arrivals will not be able to enter any of the voluntary games.
