Conditions of Competition
Tournament Committee: Mike Greenwood, (Chairman), Dan Bradley
The Rules of Golf as issued by the USGA govern play, along with Local Rules as applicable in the Club “Hard Card”. See below for additional Conditions of Competition. Violations are addressed by the Tournament Committee in cooperation with the Rules Committee.
This is a one-day, 18-hole Net Stroke Play Tournament using 100% Home Course Handicap. The Tournament Committee uses Golf Genius to set up the tournament. The lowest Home Course Handicap during the 2020 Colorado Golf season will be used, (March 15th through of the date of the tournament set up). The Tournament Committee will organize the flight based on points accumulated, with lowest going first.
Black, Blue and White tees will be utilized depending on the number and handicaps of participants.
A Sudden Death playoff will decide a tie for first place. Playoff holes are determined by the Tournament Committee based on course availability. Players are responsible for knowing the likelihood of a playoff possibility. Failure to be present for the playoff will result in relinquishing first place for second place. All other ties are co-winners and the place money and points are evenly split.
All scores are posted by the Committee for USGA Handicap purposes, with applicable Adjusted Gross Score applied.
Prior to the first tee, at Registration Table, a voluntary $5.00 will be collected from each individual wishing to enter a Net Skins Game. In the event of “No Skins Out”, the competition reverts to the Best Skins Format. In the event that weather causes the tournament to be cancelled, the tournament committee will attempt to reschedule to the following weekend, with all Voluntary Pots (Hole-In-One, Eagle, and Ringer) as “In-Active”. If a reschedule is not possible the final results will be based on the total points accumulated up to the Player’s Championship.
