Master Senior Club Championship

Wednesday July 28, 2021

Entry Fee: $12

Entry Opens: July 3

Entry Closes: July 22

Tournament Committee:   Roger Cambray (Chair), George Verstraete

The Rules of Golf as issued by the USGA govern play, along with Local Rules as applicable in the Club “Hard Card”.  See below for additional Conditions of Competition.  Violations are addressed by the Tournament Committee in cooperation with the Rules Committee.

This is a “Master Senior Tournament” with the minimum age requirement of 62 years of age.  All players must be 62 years of age by the start of the tournament.  This is a one-day, 18 hole Flighted Net Stroke Play Tournament using 100% Home Course Handicap.  The Tournament Committee uses Golf Genius to determine flights and pairings.  Home Course Handicap is as of the date of the tournament set up.  The Tournament Committee makes every effort to create Flights with the least amount of Course Handicap differential possible.

Tees to be utilized will be set by the committee based on the number of participants and flights.

The low Gross score playing from the blue tees will determine the Master Senior Club Champion. This player wins money on the books, based on his net finish in his flight.  All flights pay based on Net scores.

A Sudden Death playoff will decide all ties for first place for the low gross Master Senior Champion.  Playoff holes are determined by the Tournament Committee based on course availability.  Players are responsible for knowing the likelihood of a playoff possibility. Failure to be present for the playoff will result in relinquishing first place for second place. All other ties in each flight are co-winners and the place money is evenly split.

All scores are posted by the Committee for USGA Handicap purposes, with applicable Adjusted Gross Score applied.

Other Information:

Prior to the first tee, at Registration Table, a voluntary $5.00 will be collected from each individual wishing to enter a Flighted Net Skins Game.  In the event of “No Skins Out”, the competition reverts to the Best Skins Format.
